Ali Palmer
Ali grew up on skis in Steamboat Springs, Colorado where she developed a love for the outdoors. Thanks to the abundant chlorophyll in the Pacific Northwest, Ali discovered the profession of Landscape Architecture at the University of Oregon. To this day, Ali still takes notable inspiration from when she studied abroad in Kyoto, Japan where she lived in a 15th century Buddhist monastery, studying Japanese gardens and watercolors. She loves that, as a landscape designer, she has the power to orchestrate the way people move through the world. Ali continues to find inspiration in mountain biking, open water swimming and traveling, where she spawns ideas for ways to insert experiences of beauty and wonder into her designs. When she’s not in the office, you’ll catch her making bouquets from her garden and breathing fresh air with the people she loves.
