Net Zero Facility for Rocky Mountain Institute

We are thrilled to be working with ZGF Architects, JE Dunn, PAE and others to plan and design a new office and convening facility for Rocky Mountain Institute. Located in Basalt, CO, the building will be a showcase of sustainable design and construction, embracing a vision of net-zero energy and net-zero water that exceeds the highest LEED certification standards. This project will demonstrate the team’s shared vision of integrative design by addressing the interdependent elements of culture, environment, and technology, and will ultimately serve as a physical manifestation of RMI’s mission that promotes “the efficient and restorative use of resources.”
