Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
DHM Design worked with Elliott and Associates, Architects, and S2o Design and Engineering to design the Oklahoma City Whitewater park. The park is a part of an ongoing downtown economic development effort that has revitalized the city’s riverfront and attracted the national office of USA Canoe Kayak. The $16 million park project features manmade pumped channels that create whitewater for paddlers of all abilities. As a City facility and associated with the Oklahoma River Boathouse District, the park provides water-based family recreation and is host to national and international paddling events.
