In collaboration with the consultant team, DHM is developing a master plan for this 26,000 acres ranch, located in the expansive Shields Valley of Montana. The diverse ecology spanning the ranch provides a number of unique habitats for a rich dynamic of plants and wildlife. The physical setting of the ranch consists of several drainages, a section of the Shields river, a reservoir, a number of existing structures, existing roads and trail systems and a significant agricultural component including agricultural fields and various irrigation structures.
DHM is developing a master plan for the overall ranch which embraces ecological habitat improvements, along with the siting of two ranch headquarters, the owner’s main residence, ponds, barns and other outbuildings, while enhancing the unique recreational opportunities of the property.
