Affordable Housing Plans for Aspen Lumberyard
DHM is working with the City of Aspen and the community to create the vision for affordable housing on the Lumberyard property, a 7-acre site between Buttermilk Ski Area and the Aspen Airport Business Center. Affordable housing is currently the City of Aspen’s number one priority going into 2020 as there is a large gap in the valley between what’s needed and what currently exists. DHM is leading the visioning process with a consultant team of planners, engineers, and community outreach specialists. We are currently finalizing an in-depth public engagement process before developing property concept plans. For more information on Aspen’s affordable housing effort, visit the project website.
